One of the WORST doctrines ever. Prosperity Gospel teachers try to convince followers that they need to “sow a seed” – give money- in order to be blessed by God. It’s a big stretch of Matthew 13:3-9, the parable of the sower. In a nutshell, this is unBiblical because the Bible never equates the concept that seeds are metaphors for money. In the parable, the seed is the word of God and the ground are those who hear it.
