In June 2024, Marcus posted this video about his arrest for child abuse. He claimed it was a misunderstanding and would be cleared up in time. Marcus did admit that there was an incident where he “disciplined” his child, leaving marks that were reported to DCFS. DCFS apparently determined criminal charges could be levied.
He then went on to talk for 30 minutes about how awful the ordeal was for him. Typical Marcus had to make it as dramatic as possible as if he thought he might die. And that the only thing that mattered was him and his feelings
He wants all the attention and sympathy, but what about the child and the rest of the family who had to deal with it. No mention of them.
He has since then said that the charges were dropped.
 This was not a nothing burger and should not be dismissed lightly in light of Marcus’ history of domestic abuse.
