The complete gospel has two components the Law, given by God so His holiness can be understood, and grace, the means by which He remedies the problem of sin. Many modern churches teach a false gospel of pragmatism or prosperity. It sounds similar to the true gospel but it comes down to a reversal of Law and Grace. Highly recommend checking them out to better understand the doctrine of salvation, for your own edification and to be able to explain it better to others.
